Plaza Boutique Hotel

We thought the staff were wonderful and very helpful, they really stood out to us. The room was also lovely- very comfortable and clean with everything we needed, and a nice view of the square below. Whilst we didn't use all the facilities and services available, the ones we did use were also excellent. The location was also very good, within walking distance to key areas of the city and transport links.

The hotel is a small hotel just outside the Jewish quarter.(stare podgorze) The hotel is located only 2-3 tram stops from the Jewish quater (kazimierz)or 4-5 stops into the old town(stare miasto).The castle (wawel) is only 3 stops on tram 8 and 13. The main railway station (krakow glowny) and the hotel are connected by tram number 10. Koróna to Teatr Slowackiego. The hotel has a small breakfast room/restaurant but it's just as easy to pop into kazimierz or the old town and find a nice restaurant/cafe for a beautiful breakfast/ lunch or evening meal that's very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and have information on tours and trams available at the desk. Check in and check out was super easy. We also had a balcony to have a smoke/morning coffee while over looking a small square that had a market on Saturday morning which was perfect for people watching.

After exploring multiple options for 20 day business trip in 5km radius to office, finally closed down to Plaza hotel, and on reaching could strongly justify my option 1) Excellent rooms with all amenities as per Hotel category ( Room temperature, Water supply, Ambience Hygiene) 2) Frint desk and restraunt staff were polite, conscious care all time 3) Breakfast - Being vegetarian well managed with Fair options, Staff assisting for all queries, offering customized/extra Vegan options pro-actively 4) Central to all key places of City - Wavel, Main Square, Schindler Museum, Major malls like Galeria/Decalthon approachable to many Indian, Vegan , Polish/Italian cuisine options. [ Korona stop next to hotel is junction to 4-5 major Tram routes] 5) Pleasant river side walk is few hundred meters away, Hala Forum , Stradomska and Strowinska, Getta Square are at walkable distance. Open Flea market on evety Saturday next to hotel. Accessible to many essential shops and food options nearby. 6) WiFi connectivity is really nice, only 5 mins downtime, that too fixed within 5 mins on calling front desk 7) Walkable / Good Tram connectivity to my office location ( but this point may not be helpful to others)

Good size room, very clean, tea set - great bonus after walking back to hotel. Our window was looking to internal part of area which was great as it was very quiet! The location is on the edge of old city, 20 min walking to center or 5 min with car or tramp, which was near hotel. The bonus was the food market on Saturday morning just opposite the hotel.

excellent location. close to the river, old town. Easy to be reached by car. Close to multistorey car park Stare Podgorze. excellent buffet breakfast with “ normal” espresso coffee croissant and fresh fruits. Staff very helpful and responsive to requests managing invoices and helping with dining suggestions.
